What the client wanted: the management of the tourist complex, which is part of a premier international business group, specified a watering system to serve 18 sites having 108 distinct zones, with readings from the sensors of a field weather station used to calculate evaporation-traspiration (ET) data and for automatic reprogramming of watering schedules, all of which operating on the same local area network (LAN) as used for other Building Automation services, such as lighting, leisure pools, security and safety systems, etc.

The Clabermeteo solution: an IDS Decoder Watering System, suitably customized to operate using standard data transmission media and protocols, sharing the same cable runs and network communication procedures as other Building Automation systems. In effect, the Clabermeteo system uses an ordinary Ethernet LAN with TCP/IP protocol: MODBUS.
